Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane, Indiana

The Crane Division (NSWC Crane), located in Crane, Indiana, is a shore command of the United States Navy under the Naval Sea Systems Command headquartered in Washington D.C. The focus of NSWC Crane is harnessing the power of technology for the Warfighter. Crane specializes in full life cycle support in three mission focus areas: Special Missions, Strategic Missions, and Electronic Warfare/Information Operations. There are two possible types of positions which may be offered to CLEC participants: Student Trainee and VRA. Student Trainees are involved in a higher education program to achieve a degree in the field in which they are working at Crane.  VRA appointments are for participants that already have the experience or education required. Veterans must be over 30% to be considered  non-competitive. Veterans of 10-20% must apply online at the Department of Navy's HR website- https://chart.donhr.navy.mil or through http://usajobs.gov.
